Ludwin Lai

Ludwin has nearly 20 years of experience in M&A and investments. Throughout his career, he has successfully completed over 40 M&A deals (worth over USD$1.2 billion) and has been responsible and hands-on in the capital-raising transactions that have supported those deals. An experienced investment manager in the venture capital and private equity sectors, Ludwin was Head of Investments at a venture capital fund in Taiwan focused on the fintech industry. Additionally, Ludwin has worked for reputable investment banking and investment management institutions including Robeco, Stamford Partners, Eaton Partners (Stifel Financial), NeSBIC Buyout Fund, and Lehman Brothers. Ludwin holds a master’s degree in economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam. Ludwin is responsible for the day-to-day operations and trading activities of Coinful Capital’s commodities-focused Pierce 50 portfolio as the Portfolio Manager. Responsible for executing the strategy’s mandate, Ludwin manages the day-to-day investment management decisions of the strategy.
